Engineering & Prototyping
As an engineering team with experience in complex industrial projects, we translate requirements into a functional testing or measurement solution that can be reliably integrated into everyday production.
The focus is on customized inspection and measurement stations as well as automation concepts that are precisely tailored to the material, process, and specifications. Typical applications include inspection and measurement stations for thickness, distance, position, and geometry (2D/3D), camera-based systems for defect detection, surface inspection or component identification, as well as force and displacement measurements for the reproducible testing of functional features such as latching or click mechanisms. In addition, we implement automated testing and sorting cells including robotics, in which components are tested, evaluated, and reliably separated into good and defective parts. Another focus is data acquisition and traceability, so that quality data can be permanently documented, evaluated, and utilized for process optimization.
To achieve this, FOLITEC combines a practical engineering stack: 3D design and simulation, 3D scanning of existing components, prototyping via 3D printing, integration of sensor technology, image processing, and control systems, as well as turnkey commissioning. What matters is not just the technical concept, but its consistent implementation into a robust, low-maintenance, and process-reliable total solution.
